RoseRock Healthcare is a proud sponsor of Winterset, the Osteopathic Founders Foundation annual gala, February 22, 2014. An important component of the Foundation’s mission is support of community organizations that improve the health and healthcare of northeast Oklahoma communities. This year, a contribution to Winterset will benefit two of Tulsa’s most deserving charities, Emergency Infant Services and our colleagues at Clarehouse who, each day, provide a loving home to terminally ill people.
RoseRock Salutes Clarehouse
We’ve recognized Clarehouse before on these pages. Since 2001 Clarehouse has provided a home and short term round-the-clock care to terminally ill people. Clarehouse is funded entirely by charitable giving. Clarehouse residents must be enrolled in a local hospice program, like RoseRock. When a RoseRock patient goes to Clarehouse, our team continues to provide the full range of hospice services supplemented by Clarehouse’s nonstop practical care. Now, Clarehouse is working to expand their End-of-Life Education Program which focuses on clinical education, community outreach, and sharing their unique model program with other communities.
Treating the Whole Person
Osteopathic medicine is a distinctive diagnostic and therapeutic system based on the philosophy that all body systems are interrelated and dependent upon one another for good health. Developed 130 years ago, osteopathic medicine is one of the fastest growing healthcare professions in the U.S. and brings a unique philosophy to traditional medicine. With a strong emphasis on the inter-relationship of the body’s nerves, muscles, bones and organs, doctors of osteopathic medicine apply the philosophy of treating the whole person to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, disease and injury.
RoseRock is proud that three members of our Medical Staff are osteopathic physicians including Executive Medical Director, Dr. R. Michael Eimen, Dr. G. Davin Haraway and Dr. Mark Callery.
